I have mentored and volunteered at Kid City since 2017 and have seen the tremendous impact the organization has on the community. As a first-generation college student, I had little access to resources and support in applying to and attending college, so I know first-hand how important programs like Kid City are in providing mentorship, continued support, and a sense of community for students. As a mentor in the Kid City Scholar Program, I have helped my scholars get admitted to and attend UCLA, UC Riverside, and CSULA.
