Music has been such a vital part of our lives, it has nurtured us as much as we have nurtured it. We have received many blessings through that medium. It makes no distinction between gender, age, sexual orientation, race, citizenship status, or class. It is all inclusive, it is there for us to explore, express, and inspire. We can't imagine what life would be like if certain songs were not written or performed by talented artists...some of whom had the right kind of guidance to lead them to a path of music. 

Let us dare to imagine the next inspirational song, the next talented artist that will emerge from our own communities. Unfortunately, too often, in this society, the art programs are underfunded, yet incarceration investment keeps rising....the priorities are mal-adjusted, to say the least. Music has served as an alternative to "street life"...and it has provoked the curiosity of youth to explore other fields in academia, related to Music, in particular within STEM. 

This is an opportunity to contribute to the arts...to KID CITY HOPE PLACE, an organization located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles that serves the families from surrounding neighborhoods.
