You’re invited to our Kid City Open House!

Kid City now has nearly 100 students enrolled in college! Meet a few of our extraordinary high school and college students, who will share with you their dreams and aspirations as the first in their families to gain a higher education. We've scheduled a flexible, individualized program to focus on introducing guests to students. But you can also meet the staff and volunteers who power Kid City, see our program space, and have some appetizers as you meet one on one to hear the students' stories, and share your own education and career journey.  

This summer Kid City served 150 students by providing swimming, dance, and theater classes for elementary and middle school age students; SAT math and verbal workshops, college prep, job training, math review (all levels) and personal statement classes for high school students. We ended the summer with our annual family fundraiser Splash of LA, produced by students who took leadership roles in publicity, games, food sales, and sponsorship committees. The funds raised support Kid City's fall programs, which include one-on-one mentoring, college admission advising,  personal statement and financial aid workshops for a new cohort of college bound students, as well as academic enrichment and music for children and youth of all ages.

Kid City could not do what it does without the generous support of a caring community. Please join us to celebrate the future of these amazing kids. We hope to see you on October 15!
